Ive always attracted the people who know WHO THEY ARE from the jump. It makes my philosophy easier to carry out on a wedding day. The unique individual with specific interests, or a couple so madly in love that they don't even care that I'm around shooting their chemistry. I see it in everything that's purely genuine, I see the love. I've seen it here and in other states. It's all around and I capture what IT IS.

My inspiration on your wedding day is you. It's not the trends, the forced moments, rushed and performative. This day is the peak of your relationship and all the emotions that come with it. It's purely yours. My philosophy is documenting you. My approach to photography is rooted in composition, timing, and trust—allowing space for real moments while shaping a gallery that feels cohesive, elevated, and true to you.

I have also always been inspired by my mothers photos. She always brings out the photos of us when we were kids during the holidays. Its one of my favorite things we do and I hope my photos are used in the same way in the future for all my clients.

I started my photography journey when I had to take an art class in college as a pre-requisite. Falling in love with photography during that class created "By Alex Nena". I started off with portraits of friends which then took a very fast turn to my first wedding within a few months into buying a camera. I fell in love with capturing weddings since then.

I have always been a lover of love and love films. I am very inspired by old hollywood, old world and the drama of it all. I love the huge gowns, candlelight details and excessiveness.
