So, I found Alex by chance through Instagram. And I fell in love with her style, her eye, and the way she not only captures people authentically but the best version of themselves. I have never felt more beautiful than I did every time she’s been behind the camera. I booked her originally for our engagement and wedding photos. And before our wedding she was having a mini Mother’s Day photo shoot so I thought I would try it out before our wedding to get a feel for our future photographer. I’m so happy I did. They were the best pictures with my new born baby. After that, we had our engagement pictures, let me tell you my husband is definitely camera shy, but throughout the whole process she made us feel super comfortable. I’ve been photographed before with not much direction, and I feel awkward. But throughout our whole process, she was able to read our cues and guided as little or as much as we needed.
Now for our wedding day that was a whirlwind ! Not only the chaos of wedding but my daughter got super sick that day. Despite the issues Alex was there capturing all the fun beautiful moments and even though I felt STRESSED she handled my day. Kept me on track,took the MOST BEAUTIFUL shots and made it work. And after that we did a redo photo shoot for my daughter in her flower girl dress once she felt better. And honestly they are my favorite set of pictures. So, if you’re looking for timeless photos, that capture you and your partner, a professional photographer that will keep you on track and just roll with the chaos, definitely hire her.
Also, would recommend doing the full timeframe of 10 hours. Because the wedding day goes by quickly, and if you want some shots of the reception, (which I highly recommend) it’s so much fun to capture everyone in their party mode. We love you Alex. Deep in the trenches of searching for vendors for our wedding- I came across Alex’s instagram and immediately fell in love. I placed an inquiry for our date at the reasonable midnight hour, she replied by 2am, I replied by 5am, we had a zoom call that morning, and boom! My photography vendor dreams came true. She was a true “photo friend” from our engagement shoot to our wedding day! Such a sweet and friendly soul to have in your corner on such a big day. She will have your back, give you cues, and make you look GOOD! We received the most immaculate, special, and intimate photos from our wedding day- she truly made a vision come to life. All of the big and little moments were captured beautifully in her documentary-style. The way she captures the light and emotions in her photos will leave you in awe.
